Project Drainage Engineer

3 engineering is seeking a project drainage engineer. The individual shall have experience on both commercial and residential land development projects. Primary responsibilities will include the preparation of storm drain design, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, drainage reports, coordination with FEMA on CLOMR/LOMR applications, open channel design and sedimentation analysis. The position is not limited to drainage and the individual will have the opportunity to be exposed to other facets of civil engineering design and project management.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in Civil Engineering.
  • PE License in the State of Arizona or ability to obtain reciprocity.
  • 5-10 years of experience (local experience to the Arizona and California market a plus).
  • Proficient in the use of storm water software including: HEC-1, HEC-RAS, Storm CAD, and Flo-2D modeling.
  • CAD drafting experience required (Microstation experience a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel required.
  • Must have an understanding of municipal review and submittal processes.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.

CADD Drafter

3 engineering is seeking an experienced CADD Drafter. The individual shall have experience on both commercial and residential land development projects. Primary responsibilities will include the preparation of paving, grading, water, sewer, SWPP, storm drain plans, along with site plans, ALTA Surveys, and Final Plats. 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microstation
  • Must be willing to learn Microstaion if AutoCAD user
  • 1- 5 years experience, Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Civil Engineering Plans
  • Must have basic level skills in Word and Excel
  • Must work well in team setting
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent work ethic
